The short-tempered couple from New South Wales stepped into the room for the primary time, serving up variety of Vietnamese-inspired meals to their expectant guests.
The girls tried to line the mood, seating their guests with a flaming shot of absinthe - sadly this looked as if it would have the reverse impact, with Manu and Pete being attentive of the "tension, anticipation and anxiety" once they walked into The works.
Promising to "bring it", the women created a boiled salad with Asian herbs as associate entree, that sadly did not impress. "That dish solely took Maine halfway to Vietnam", Steph commented.
